The new OEM doo is much better but it does not fit on the shaft a tightly as Mike's does. My recommendation: Change the doo and the spring (use the torsion version) on YOUR KLR.

To replace the spring you need to remove the doohickey anyway so might as well replace the doo too. The Eaglemike piece is still better than the OEM.
