WebMar 21, 2013 · I have always worn a panty girdle type support garment since my ostomy. The position of my stoma dipping down a bit allows me to do this. Plus there always is a bit of air which keeps fluid (very liquid) moving into the bag. BUT many people get pancaking if they squish the stoma into a support type garment (or hernia belt) without a hole.
